Mexican man admits faking his own kidnapping in St. Paul to gain visa, authorities say

A St. Paul based illegal alien admitted to faking his own kidnapping, as reported to the Pioneer Press, to have a qualifying crime for a U visa. His nephew tied him up with duct tape, and dumped him in the freezing snow to lend his ‘kidnapping’ legitimacy. He pled guilty to one count of visa fraud and one count of illegally reentering the United States.
